How We Met

Chad and I first noticed each other January 12, 2005. We were at Institute in Auburn,WA. Even though we were there for two different reasons, we both thought, “I’d like to get to know him/her.” I went to Institute because the teacher Russ Millard, was in my ward and I knew he was a great teacher. Chad was at Institute because he was looking for a wife! Unknown to us at the time we had both just gotten home from BYU-Idaho. I was in between semesters and working (Babysitting and Nannying); Chad was finished with classes and needing an internship. We didn't first talk until the next week, January 19th. Brother Millard always had us break into groups and have decisions on questions he asked us. Chad was in my group and I remember thinking that he was really smart. The answers he gave were not the typical “Sunday school” answers and I liked that a lot.
