Getting the Phone Number

The next week at Institute, I wanted to talk with Chad to tell him I wouldn’t be around for the next couple of weeks because I was going to be Nannying. But I never got the chance. Whenever there was an opportunity to talk, a certain girl was always right there by Chad’s side talking with him. At the end of one of the breaks I noticed that Chad was able to break away from the girl but we still weren’t able to talk because class was starting again. The end of class wasn’t any better because once again the girl was talking with Chad again. I was getting annoyed at this point and thought, “I’m not going to wait in line to talk with him,” so I left. As I was getting into my car, I saw Chad come out of the Institute building alone. In my last attempt to talk to him I asked, “Do you need a ride home?” He said, “No, I was just looking for a friend.” I found out later he was actually looking for me. He came over and talked to me. I told him that I wouldn’t be at Institute for the next couple of weeks due to me nannying. He asked for my phone number, and I was one happy girl. I nannied for the Eyring’s from January 28 to February 8th. It was a long twelve days. On a Sunday evening while I was at the Eyring’s Chad called me. He first called my house to get the Eyring’s phone number. He just wanted to call and say “Hi”. We didn’t talk very long but it was the sweetest call, especially because he was thinking about me. I was so excited after his call. I wrote to some of my roommates back in Rexburg and told them how Chad had gotten my number and called me while I was Nannying.
